IRONMAN Interviews

3 Grand Junction Triathletes Discuss Their IRONMAN Experiences

In preparation for my trip to Hawaii to treat the competitors at the 2011 IRONMAN World Championship I wanted to talk to people who have completed IRONMAN distance triathlons. My goal in documenting these conversations was to share them with my patients and inspire them to become more active. I also wanted my inactive patients to see that everyday individuals with busy family lives and careers can find hours to train for endurance events and that everyone can fit in time, even if it's only 15 minutes, to be more physically active and improve their overall well being.
